I trying to set up windows with a parameter that represents the Head height of the window. No mater what I do I cannot get the actual head height (bottom of Header). When creating a new window from the Revit template, I get Height which is also the cut in the wall which is also in reality the rough opening of the window and Sill Height. When I place this as simple as it is in a wall in a project I get 2 instance parameters called Sill height and Head Height. Both move the window. This is what I want. When I go to place my actual window frame in the family, and set the Height of the window, and then place it into the wall the Head Height is displayed incorrectly. I found out that the Head height that appeared is based on a hidden formula of Sill height + Height. The incorrect thing that I noticed is that the actual head height of the window is the sill height + rough height. How can I get this to appear correctly? I need to have a instance parameter that is called Head Height that is related to the rough opening height of the window. If I enter 8'-0" in this parameter I get 8'-0" from level to top of rough opening of the window. I also want this height to be the origin height of the window. So if I am setting windows in elevation I am setting the head height say at 8'-0" again. I really need this to work this way. I had this issue a while back for another firm I was setting up but now I am having the same issue with it on this firm. Thanks
