Just check that "Raster Images" are turned on in your visibility settings first.

Chris- I have 2009 and have a similar problem, however, we seem to have reached an image import limit. We have been bringing in our code data as a .jpg because the Revit text formatting is so limited. (tabs, bullets, etc.). Regardless of the text issue... images seem to be disappearing. At one point they will insert properly and then the next time the file is opened, they will be blank or black. One image is already in the file and Images are on. However, now, every new image that I bring in is blank (ghosted). Any thoughts?
