Hi i was interested to find out if it is possible to save from a later version to an earlier version of revit and how......

yeah, unfortunately sdbrown is right on with this. This is one of my most hated pet peeves with Revit. There was a post on AUGI about some workaround to export from Revit into a format, then import from your earlier version. I'll dig around for it, but I might not get it because I can't remember the thread it was in! LOL
