I have a fairly elementary question.  Using a new project I place one gridline.  Then I place a generic 8"Concrete wall using the Location Line set to Core Centerline on the gridline and parallel along its length.  I am now allowed to lock the centerline of the wall to the gridline.  If I change this wall to a Exterior: Brick on CMU from the library it will not allow me to keep the constraint.  I am wondering why this is so.  I desire to have a CMU Brick wall be constrained to gridlines because they are the exterior support for my building.

I am using version 9.1 thanks in advance.
