We have just upgraded to 2008, and when we opened our project, the reference planes took on a life of their own. They seem to have somehow changed to 3d... is there any way of getting them back to the way they were without deleting all of them and starting again?

check your graphics settings. Turn OpenGL on/off and make absolutely sure you enable overlay planes. If this doesn't fix it, you will need to submit a support request. Check here for more info regarding graphics cards problems. http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=60244

Thanks, the overlay planes were already enabled, so that's not the problem - I'll do a support request!
