peoples....

say hypothetically i had to move the location (as in siting) of my project.... how would one do that without having to ungroup all of my 150 groups...

our original survey wasn't in world coordinates and now the project team want to change it to WCS... easy in bloody autocad....

your help would be appreciated...

Will your project north be the same? If so I would use Rotate True North. This way you really don't have to move anything.

Providing you have documented the project in the correct orientation as per how you want to document it:

Just rotate true north as appropriate.

Use "relocate project" to set eastings and northings correctly and elevation.

My projects are always linked into a separate site plan so i can easily move them about.  If this is not the case i suggest you copy the site data into a clean file and link it back in.  You can also do this by grouping it and converting the group to a link.
