What are the pros/cons of using scope boxes to control position of Datum Marks (levels and grids) vs. editing them with 2d/3d controls? TIA. T.

If you are using scope boxes then you are more restricted to their extents, however this is also a good thing as its more difficult to stuff them up. Personally i don't see much difference either way. I've only used scope boxes a few times to recover some lost datums on a very old updated project. But these days you don't tend to have these issues. Totally personal preference... IMHO.
