I'm totaly new to Revit. I'm wondering can I start a massing model in sketch up and import it to Revit?

Yes you can. You can use the Import Link/CAD Formats option on the file menu. Below is the suggested procedure from Revit Help. After importing the sketchup model as described below you can use tools to convert faces of your sketchup model into walls, and roofs. HTH. To import SketchUp files: - In the Revit project, create a mass or in-place family. See Creating a Mass Family or Creating an In-Place Family.
- Click File menu - Import/LinkCAD Formats.
- In the Import/Link dialog, navigate to the folder that contains the SketchUp file.
- For Files of Type, select the SKP file type.
- Select the desired file, and click Open.
