while placing a window in a wall the wrapping of the exterior sheet of this wall will be cut on the centre line of the window (in case of a ending of the wall it works correctly). it seems the reference of the wall in de window family cuts of the wrapping. so how can you change the reference plane of a wall in a family in order to determine the ending of a wrap correctly?
