I'm trying to cut a building section through an in-place family...the section is fine with everything else, but the sunshade (in-place family) is showing in full, with no section cut and just an elevation of the portion in front of the cut line. any ideas how i can get the cut line to also cut through the family? thanks in advance... i'm using 8, fyi...

Refer to FAQ in my blog - link in my signature. some revit categories by default don't show cut. Change the family category using settings->Family Category & Parameters.
