I am starting out using Revit. I would like to include a hard wood floor on a project. I don't know how? Could any one help?

if you are just new to revit (we all were once!), can i suggest you look at the tutorials, which are very good. it will give you lots of knowledge, and answers to questions like yours. but a floor is like a wall is like a roof - ie it can have many 'layers' of materials, each which has loads of properties. in your case just select a floor, edit/duplicate and play with the structure until it becomes a hardwood floor! you will be selecting material, colours etc, plus a surface pattern to represent the boards. have a go.

there is also a premade hardwood floor when you click the floor icon where it says generic 12", select the down arrow and you should see Wood 10" Joist or someting similar.
