A few people are, but many of them are just 3D AutoCAD files imported into a Revit familiy and you can do this yourself for free. There is a tutorial on this site that explains how. For furniture and other 'static' items that are not parametric this is a perfectly valid solution. The tough stuff are the doors and windows which need to be fully parametric, render correctly, display in plan and elevation to your liking and schedule according to your standards. I'm not sure that anyone can create a universal family for sale that will work with the above conditions. Revit itself makes it difficult as the 'shared parameters'that everyone talks about are really master database field definitions. When a developer creates these shared parameters and applies them to a family, the family will work in your project, but if you don't have the shared parameters added to your own shared parameters file then you will not be able to add them to your own content. There are backend ways to make this happen, but the average user is not in a position to know about it. That said, there are family beta programs underway from a major force in the A/E industry. I can't say much more about it than that, but I think your problems with families will start to be solved shortly in a very high level manner. Edited on: Wed, Apr 25, 2007 at 9:44:50 AM

Hey, thanks a lot Tom. I understand what you mean. It is just frustrating not to have the types of things I want at the tip of my fingers. I know we are in this together and still in the beginning stages of this program (i.e. everyone wondering if this is the right program for a company to get involved with). RevitCity is hands down the best site out here for downloading components and such. Thank you for your help. Long live Revit! Kyle CW Design Renton, WA

If you need something specific, I would post for it. I've uploaded a few things I have when someone needed it as have others.

I am looking for a rounded tub, like an indoor jacuzzi.
