I'm drawing with a raster image background, and if I zoom in after a certain point it disappears. any ideas why this would happen?

how close are you getting? I know if I zoom in too far Revit will crash. I would say Revit is just having a hard time displaying something too close.

If you zoom in too far I'd imagine the pixels of the raster image will start to get too big to be of use anyway... How far are you zooming in? If you are using it to trace over then i can't imagine it being to accurate anyway so can't see any reason to zoom in so far?

it wasn't zooming into the point of pixelization, it was actually disappearing before I could have an idea of where walls were. I think it might have been a ram issue- the problem resolved itself after a restart. sorry, but thanks.
