I have sort of posted this in another forum before, but had received no responses.  I have a project in which there are 2 buildings that are going to be historically renovated and another building that is going to be torn down to make room for a new building.  So, I modelled the 2 existing buildings that are going to stay in REVIT 9.1 and the building that is going to be removed was done in CAD 2007 as just floor plans and elevations.  Now, the 2 models are each in their own files and the other building in just CAD files.  So, I made an overall model in which I linked in the other 2 models and linked in the CAD files and everything looks good.  Now, I am to the part in which I need to keynote things to be removed and stuff like that.  I would like to keynote in the overall plan, but since everything is linked in, there is nothing to keynote.  I can keynote in the original models and then reload them in and that sort of works.  The keynotes show up in plan views, but not in elevation views.  I put notes on the elevation of the original model, and reloaded it and the keynote tags don't come along in the reload.  Does anyone know why this is?  So, does anyone have any ideas on how I can accomplish what I am trying to do here?  I have been struggling with this for quite a while now.  I already had to trick revit into allowing me to even make a keynote legend too.  Since everything was linked in, I could not make a legend based on the linked files.  So, I had to draw a wall out in space so that it would not be seen in any of the views, and I keynoted the heck out of it with all the notes we will use.  Then, I can make a legend because they are technically in the file now.

Any help in this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
