Revit 9.1 - We have an elevation that steps in on the first floor several feet creating a large over hang. We used the technique of using a section cut along the first floor and then overlayed that view on our elevation sheet. We are getting a great section cut along the topography closer to the building that the elevation view was giving us. The trouble we are have now is that we have areas along the section view where the topography disapears randomly. We bumped up the cut line to be a dark line (9) and this line stops and starts along the view. We are having to draft over the view with a detail line of the same thickness to make it look correct. Any suggestions? See screen shot for example

I find that the topo surface usually doesn't look very good in most sections. Replace to topo with a filled region with the same earth fill pattern and turn off the toposurface. It's easier to manipulate the filled region.
