Hi, I am using revit 9.1, and I need to create a set of folding attic stairs. Does anyone know how I can do this? I have created stairs in a tutorial and I am able to create "normal" staircases, but have had an unsuccessful try at creating "a folding stair" look. I need to be able to see them unfolded in a section view.) But it doesn't look how I want with a set of regular stairs. Please help! Everyone who replied to my past posts have been sooo helpful!! thanks

In my opinion your best bet would be to create a generic family with parameters attached to the stairs (angles) so that it can fold up to diff "stages" (if that makes sense). Then you can adjust the height/width and finaly angles (the folding parameters) I dont think it should be thought of as a "stair" in revit terms Dunno if the experts have a better idea - over to them!
