It would make life a lot smoother if it were possible to use the CTRL, ALT, and SHIFT buttons in the Keyboard shortcuts.txt. Archicad has that capacity. Its really annoying to have to constantly either use one hand to type out commands slowly or take the other hand away from the mouse to type.

I 100% agree with this. Most if not all other programs that is used in AEC industry has this capability. But instead we in Revit are only STUCK with two keystroke shortcuts. Very unfortunate.
