I need to turn off the visibility of some of my furniture but not all of it. This is simple in CAD but I can't figure it out in Revit! How can I put my furniture, which is all under one heading in the visibility settings, on more than one layer? Thanks to anyone who can help!

Why don't you set up phases and then use filters.

In Revit 9.0/9.1 you can use a filter to control visibility. Worksets are another option. In Revit Architecture 2008 you can simply hide any element in a view. Right click on element and select 'hide in view'.
