taken from this thread http://www.revitcity.com/forums.php?action=viewthread&thread_id=797 is there yet a way to create a "grand stair"?

That can be done using 2 separate stair commands or my preference would be 3. They are just straight run stairs with a landing. Personally, I would create the landing as a separate floor, then create one straight set of stairs going to the top level, then two for the bottom level. The landing level, I would make a new level midway between upper and lower finish floor limits. You would have to do some calculation for the riser height to be equal all around. Or you could make a temporary, one run set of stairs and use the treads to match the landing height required, then delete the landing. LOL, sorry too much information maybe.

thanks for the info m8, the thing bout revit is being able to change the stairs easily as 1 complete unit, nvm tho :D
