for some reason my project only created a ceiling plan for my 2nd and 3rd floor, but not for the 1st floor. does anyone know how to creat a ceiling plan if it was not originally created?

Go to View>New>Ceiling Plan

When you copy a level in an elevation or section view, a new plan or ceiling view is not created.

If you place a new level in a view, then on the options bar above the drawing space is a check box that you can toggle on and off to create a plan view and also a button to select view types to create.

hi mead3724,

it is customary not to try and delete a post, but to post how the problem was solved. even if you solved your own problem.

 best regards,
