Our company standard for sheet numbering goes as follows... T1.1, T1.2, for title sheets then FR1.1 Fire Rating Plans, then AD.1, AD.2, etc Demo Plans, then A1.1... from then on.  How do I get my sheet index to order properly since it's not alphabetically or numerically sortable?

Thanks! :o)

add a project parameter to all of your sheets (integer type works well) named 'index' or something like that and sort by that parameter. we also add a 'discipline' parameter to further sort the drawing list.

Thanks for your help.  One more question... I have to add the sheet names of the other disciplines' drawings that aren't in Revit.  Do I have to type theirs on the title sheet under the automatically generated sheet index for my sheets, or is there a way to add them to my schedule?

Easiest way is to create blank sheets as place holders for them in revit so they show up in your schedule.  The other option is text on the sheet under the schedule as you described but this won't adjust if your schedule gets extra lines etc added when new sheets are added...

Ok I am trying this and can't get it for some reason.  I set up a parameter called Index. Then I go to the sort tab but can't figure out how to put the order I want cause it only says asending or desending.  What am I doing wrong?  Using Revit 9.1.

Also there is 8 different disciplines, is this possible to do.  I only see 4 times to group.

I did add an "Index" as a integer project parameter.  In Settings > Browser Organization > Sheets tab.  I created a new organization scheme.  "Index" will appear in the "Group by" combobox but will appear in the "Sort by" combobox.  What am I doing wrong?
