Hello Everyone, Can anyone provide some insight into how to control the interaction between shared coordinates, topography, and labeling contours? The circumstance is that I have a toposurface in place, under my building. It's a complex terrain, with a spread of about 60ft from the lowest to the highest contour, and I created it by using the "Import Instances" from an ACAD file. When I use the shared coordinates command and assign Level 1 (in elevation) as 40.71 ft, everything looks great, until I hit "Edit" on the toposurface. For some reason, the shared coordinates are not working on the points themselves. Each point on a contour line has an Elevation of 0.29, the next contour up has points all at 1.29, the next one 2.29, and so forth. But when I slap "Label Contours" on them and use Shared Coordinates, they come out correctly: 40ft, 41ft, etc. This is a problem, because I don't want to do the math every time I want to add contours. My civil will be working on it too, and I want it to be right for him. I don't want to move the toposurface up or down without also moving the building. I just want the points that make up the toposurface to read correctly: 40ft, 41ft, and 40.5 ft if need be. Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

I see that this is an older post. But I was wondering if you ever figured it out?
