Yes it can. Simply edit the room tag family and you can add any field from the standard room properties to the tag. You can also have multiple versions of rooms tags. Think of the tags as 'reports' that can show any of the properties of the room. Your task is to figure out if you can use one of the existing fields to hold your 5 digit code. The 'department' field would be a logical choice. If you need to add a field, then you have to do it via shared parameters. Using shared parameters should not be undertaken without proper understanding of them so I would keep it simple and keep to stock room parameters for now.

Here is an old one I had from a previous employer you can use for an example.
