Taking to heart the axiom "Don't over-model", I inserted a 2-D TV group, then built a 3-D In-Place component shelf for it to 'sit on'. However, the 3-D shelf extrusion obscures the TV, and I can't seem to move the TV from it's inserted reference plane (floor plan). Is there a sensible way to make 2-D objects such as this TV visible?
When I try to raise the 'Origin Level Offset' in TV's properties, I am told I can not b/c there is no corresponding reference level, even though I have created one there.
Thoughts? Solutions?
