I have created a new section cut tail so our revit drawings match our Acad drawings, and I created two versions of this tail where there is a long version and also a short version for fitting into tight spaces. It works great when I am cutting detail views, I can choose between Detail View:long tail, Detail View:short tail, Section:Building section or Section:Wall section. The problem is when I click reference another view, that same box that you select what type you are cutting, gets greyed out and it defaults to whatever setting is defined under "system family:Section Tag" With the type "Section head - Open" and then I lose my choice of which tail I want. I can redefine that default choice to have one of my new tails but lose any choice between the two... After I make the cut, That box is no longer greyed out and it says "Drafting View:Detail" Then I click it and it pulls down and my other choices appear again "Drafting View:Detail long tail" or "Drafting View:Detail short tail" but selecting these other choices dont have any effect... If I highlight an existing Detail View or building/wall Section, I can select different choices and the tails change accordingly. Am I missing something here?? I can set it up to choose different Section tails or heads if I wanted) for building sections, Wall section and detail views but not for drafting views?? Common sense tells me I am missing something, but I cant figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Jeff

**Correction** In my post, I said: it defaults to whatever setting is defined under "system family:Section Tag" With the type "Section head - Open" That is WRONG... it defaults to whatever setting is defined under "system family:Section Tag" With the type "Section head - No Arrow"
