Something has happened to my model where the floor tile pattern is now showing everywhere...except under walls and w/s's. Specifically, the tile pattern is showing up beneth my cabinets. I've checked the view range and it is set for a cut plane at 5' and a top view at 7' and bottom view at 0'. Anything else I'm missing? Oh yeah, the cabinets and countertops are showing correctly when in elevation and 3D. Any suggestions would be sincerely appreciated.

Have you check the visibility of your cabinets. Click on your cabinet<edit family<select the top surface and up on the menu bar there is visibility. Select this and you will most likely see that it is turned off in plan. Turn it on and load back into project. Will be same if is an in place family.

Thanks 'puzzle'...that was it. However, now I don't see the dashed lines to show the outline of the base cabinets under the countertop? What's even more intriguing to me is how this happend in the first place? It seems to have randomly picked families and toggled off the "plan" box in the visibility settings. I know I did nothing to alter that and was wondering if is perhaps a bug? Even on the simplest of families such as the 2D shower base (from the Revit Library), it too still shows the floor tile pattern under it...even after I toggled the "plan" back on in the family's visibility settings. Still confused but thanks so much for the help!

Most of the families that come with Revit have the model turned off in plan. For some items that is great, With regards to your 2d shower, it will still show the floor pattern as there is no model to block the pattern in the view. Use split face on the floor and paint the section under the shower a different material.
