First, Thanks to everyone for the questions and answers. I am a new user and trying to guide the rest of the office in the switch(jumping in to the deep end, no less) but Revitcity has been a huge help. Anyway, I am trying to get my sections to read properly. I would like all the walls poched (solid fill) at the coarse level. I have done this easily with all my walls except foundation and footing. I know I can make the cut pattern of the concrete matrerial solid fill, but I want the concrete hatch in medium and fine views. This is the first time I am really banging my head against a wall. Thanks in advance.

To do this you need to set the coarse scale fill pattern [Select wall>Properties>Edit/New> Coarse Scale Fill Pattern] to Solid and then edit the structure for the wall and select the concrete layer in your wall type and click the select material box at the end of that entry box. THis should bring you into the Materials window with your material selected, here you should change the cut pattern to Concrete fill [or whatever fill you want shown]. This should work how you want it to in coarse scale as well as Med/fine scales as well.

Thanks for the reply. The problem is that Revit's foundation and footing do not have that option in their properties->edit/new location. There is no graphics tab there at all. These are items added from the structural menu. My only solution may be to make my own walls, but it would seem silly that I would have to do that.

In 2008 you can override hatches per view...
