BE AWARE ... REVIT seems to have problems with mirroring certain types of families. Detail families are usually turned upside down. It takes another mirror to get them right side up. I've also had problems with other families. Most of the time it's an easy fix but it's just annoying.

We have trouble with 2 pick families. Especially when they are grouped. We have a 2 pick cupboard, when it is in a group, and that group is mirrored, the cupboard does not mirror. You have to edit the group and fix it.

had the same problem a while back... i found that using a group that contained another group and some objects did this a lot. the partial solution was to use only groups to make up the bigger one. and not a combination of objects and groups Edited on: Tue, May 22, 2007 at 12:52:12 PM
