YES YOU CAN: not in Revit but here's the workaround Create a view with just the Detail Lines you want to convert to Model Lines. Export them to AutoCAD then import them back in (not linked, Origin to Origin) and Explode, they come in as Model lines. You can then adjust the style etc. To separate them out in a view put them on a new Workset and set the Visibility to see only them. Make sure you set your export table settings to an appropriate level in AutoCAD because when you bring it back in it will create a line style called that layer. Mop up the created Workset & imported line style (because we all know Revit files tend to get cluttered) and all is good.

An easier way to Convert Detail Lines to Model Lines: Select all your lines and Edit > Cut (to the clipboard) - Initiate any tool that goes into sketch mode (eg the Floor Tool) - Edit > Paste Aligned > Current View your copied selection in the sketch window - The pasted elements will now be model lines - Select all your lines and copy them (again) to the clipboard - Quit sketch mode - Paste Aligned > Current View (again) your Selection in the modelling window - your detail lines are now model lines. Cheers

This also works the other way round - to convert model lines to detail lines, just use Filled Region sketch mode instead of Floor etc.
