Is there any way to control how the beam extension shows up on plan?? When I have it set to fine the beam extends to or past the support (where I want it shown), but when I switch to course, the beam extension disappears completely... We show all of our plans from course view and the beams always look like they stop way short of their support. Thanks in advance! Jeff

You can add symbolic lines in the beam family for 'course' view, but if the beam is sloped even those symbolic lines don't show up. It seems that the 'stick' figure lines in course view are tied to the analytical lines which stop short of the end of the beam. There is a post over on AUGI about this and a family or two that is posted. http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=37614
