Good morning! I saw this thread about a line weight trick with elevations: http://www.revitcity.com/forums.php?action=viewthread&thread_id=6659 In my hidden line elevations glass is opaque. I would like to keep the glass in the windows opaque but it would be nice to get this tip/trick to work. Could someone explain how to get the "glass screens" to read transparent in my hidden line elevations? I created the "glass screens" in my project as an in-place family - glass extrusion. Also, I saw a thread on AU which uses filters to show depth in elevations. I am experimenting with both methods ("glass screens" and filters) but I am curious as to what people think works best for showing depth? Here is the AU link: http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=50284&highlight=elevation+tricks Thanks!

Keep in mind all these tricks with the glass screen only work in a 3d view. That is go to a 3d view and set your view as an elevation. THIS DOES NOT WORK WITH THE STANDARD ELEVATIONS.

I guess that would be why the glass screens didn't seem to be working for me! :-) thanks robin
