When I right-click on one of the sinks that I downloaded from the forum and go to it's properties, under it's Instance Properties there are two constraints: Level and Elevation. How does one go about deleting the Elevation Constraint? The best I can tell is it's giving me the dimension from the floor to the lowest point of the drain pipe, info that I don't need. And when I go about modifying it, it changes the mounting height of the sink. I'm perplexed. I've looked in the Revit book and haven't found anything on it. Is there a way that I can change it to Offset and give it a value of 0'-0"? I'd like to be able to change the mounting height of the sink using dimensional parameters added to the family and not by way of the Elevation Constraint dimension. Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance.

You need to open the family and modify the way the elevation constraint is assigned. You should be able to delete what ever you don't want or change what you need to. Which family is it?

Thanks robinballew. I'm not sure how to modify the way the elevation constraint is assigned but I'll try to figure it out. The family is called ada hand sink. It's the second family that comes up when you search for sinks. I believe the name is ada_hand_sink_737.rfa. I'm afraid that the elevation dimension will confuse some people here in the office and they will think that that is how you modify the sink's mounting height...
