I am working with Revit 9.1 and learning about toposurfaces via the book Introducing and Implementing Autodesk Revit Building which is written for Revit 8. When I import the autocad file which has the contours set at the correct elevation Revit 9.1 has an extra step. I select Use Imported under the toposurface sketch tools and a fly away menu comes up. I try to use Import Instance but it will not allow me to select the imported autocad file. It is "greyed" out as a background file. Any suggestions?
