There are two colors in REVIT. One is the shade color used in the simple model graphics shading or shading with edges. The other color is the AccuRender color. Your shade color for your car elements has not been set. Look under the Setting pull-down materials chart to set these. You need to identify what elements are used by your cars.

Thanks for the help but could you go into a little more detail about how to make these cars visible during rendering. I looked at every single tab under the settings scroll but I still can't find any info on how to change to accurender. The cars that will render seem to have the exact same settings as the cars that wont. Can you tell me what I'm overlooking?

Open up the "Lexus_gs300_2650.rfa" family found here on the RevitCity site. Use the pull-down Settings menu to open up the materials listing for items in this family. Listed there you will find several unique materials ... in this case the "_accurender .... " and the "Accustudio ... " materials. When you load these families, these materials will now be in your project where you can control them. I don't know what vehicle you are using but you should be able to look in that family and identify, in a similar manner, what items are unique to it and the change them in your project.

Thanks for replying this this, as I've had the same problem. My stupid question of the day is .... how do you load the material families? Do you have to go to each one and create a new material color that matches what is on the car? That could take a long time ........... Thank you in advance : -)

I should have said "...when you load this family, the materials used will be loaded into your project." And I should include "...but if the material already is existing in your project, that definition will be used." NOTE: The material definitions that are existing in your project control new families that are loaded which may use materials of the same name. If you have conflicts, you can always edit the family being loaded to use a unique named material.
