I am currently working on changing a project in AutoCAD to AIA layers.  I have a few questions on this subject.  Does Revit make a list of what it names the layers that are created under new layer names and what they stand for?  Also I have noticed that when converting a file to AutoCAD Revit will create a .pcp file. Is this file useful in creating a .ctb file for plotting? Any other insight into the transfer of Revit files to AutoCAD files would be great! Thank You

This is covered very well in the help files under export & export layers.  REVIT uses a simple text file that you can control.  The AIA standard layer names is the default file.
