How can I dimension to the center of a doorway?

Bob, Most families have center lines. You should be able to dimension to the center of the door by clicking on the mid point of the door, either in plan, elevaton or section. If you cannot add a dimension then you will have to add a center line to the family............If you don't know how to do that, open up a door that came with the application and use it as a guide.

An additional note to dimensioning. You can also edit the witness line, from a solid line to a centerline, so the items referenced to the center of a wall, window or door will show as a centerline.
