is there a way to change the hatch pattern properties so that the masonry hatch patterns start a half a course up instead of right at the bottom of the wall?  i need my opening heights to match my masonry heights in elevation views.

Assuming you used a 'model' pattern for the brick, simply use the align tool to align the coursing so an elemnt.  You can also select on of the pattern lines and move it [rotate it too]

thanks for the quick reply.  i believe that the pattern is a 'model' pattern.  i'm not sure, though.  it is the pattern that is the default on the masonry.  i can't figure out how to "grab" the pattern lines in the elevation view.  if i go to edit the face of the wall the lines disappear until i finish or quit the sketch.  how do i grab the lines to move them?
