I don't think you can embedd a reveal directly into the window based family as a cut and a void cannot both exist in the window family. Therefore I created a void family that cuts the wall using the family template 'generic model -wall based'. In this template create the void extrusion and choose the void to cut the wall, load into your project and place above the windows. Once a windo and void are placed in the project, group them and copy around to save some time.
