Hi all! I have been having a problem with exporting to CAD and wanted to see if it was just me or if this was a known problem.

Usually what I do is build the model in Revit and then export the elevations to AutoCAD 2007, each to their own file. Then we will bring them all into a central file. The export process works fine, but when I paste/clip the elevations into another dwg file, it often times moves windows, posts, and other "blocks" out of their position.

Anyone else have this problem? Any known solution? Thanks!

Yes.  I have experienced the same problem that you described.  What I ended up doing to get around this is exporting sheets.  In Revit I would set up a sheet to have all of the views that I wanted.  Then export the sheet.  You will get several files, one base .dwg and several xrefs.  Then open the sheet .dwg, and bind the xrefs to it.  Now you have one stable file that has all of those drawings in it.  This method also helped us with an "invalid scale" problem that we were having.
