You can either go to site --> split surface --> click on your surface --> then draw your driveway.  When finished, change your material selection (asphalt, concrete, etc.).  Or, you can go to site --> subregion --> then draw your driveway.  Change material selection.  I usually use subregion, but either will work, and there are probably other ways to make it work for you .... as seems to be the case with things in Revit.  Hope this helps.

Anothr option is to use a 'floor' if you want your driveway to have some thickness to it.  This works if the slope is regular and only in one direction.

The site tools in Revit need a major overhaul.

Personally I use the floor method unless some strange sloping is required.  Floors work better with visibility and I can host a curb sweep on them if I need to.

Good luck!

Need help? I'm probably in my chat room!

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is never get involved in a land war in asia, but only slightly less well known is this! Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line!
