I need helpwith a couple of issues, i have attached a pdf and the first problem you see is the thickness of the lines when i print, this problem started a few weeks into the project and i have looked at a number of thing tocorrect with no luck.

second, how do get the corners to join correctly, the wall types is 2 1/2" mtl. stud + a 6" metl. stud + 5/8" sheathing and then 7/8" stucco finish, what i need to get is a seemless transtition around the corners, the pdf is to an 1/8" scale and the corner there gos back 6" from the front wall.

thanks

So the line thickness that is being printed is... too thick?

Have you checked to make sure that it is physically printing too thick also or is this based on just PDF prints?  If you need to change the thickness, do so in the object styles dialogue.  Change the line weight parameter in the cut column to a smaller value till you get what works for you.

The join... well, which join are you referring to?  I see two that are kinda out of wack.  Try the wall join tool and if that doesn't work try this on either and see what the result is:

Select one wall (preferably the longer one) and right click on the blue circle that appears at the end of the wall where the join occurs.  Select 'Disallow Join.'  Now drag the blue circle away from the join.  Click 'Unjoin Elements' if any warnings appear.  Select the same wall, right click the same blue circle and now select 'Allow Join.'  Use the trim tool to rejoin the wall.  This usually takes car of it.

Let us know if that works.

pS: is it just me or does the space bar not function well in the forum?

Need help? I'm probably in my chat room!

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is never get involved in a land war in asia, but only slightly less well known is this! Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line!
