Ah.. you're in THAT phase. Smile  Just give it a few more weeks, you'll  be cussing up a storm Winking

In all seriousness, welcome to what is quickly becoming the best BIM package available.  Don't hesitate to ask questions... especially in the next couple of weeks Smile

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is never get involved in a land war in asia, but only slightly less well known is this! Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line!

thank you very much for your kind words. i think i know exactly what you are talking about. i already started wondering about the things you wonder about when you dont know exactly the concept the software works with. for example what is the difference between structure slab objects and floor objects and why can both have concrete ... also for columns why structure and achitecture cols and what is the difference. Smile

These are all things that can be searched in the Forums and find many answers.  The main differences (I think) between the structural and non structural elements is that when/if you send a project to a structural engineer that is using Revit, they can analyze the structural elements but not the architecture elements.

Other than that you'll find that  Architectural Columns become engulfed by walls that are touching the column (think Borg assimilation), while structural columns will not be phased by a wall that is touching it.
