when trying to split the surface of a site I get this message
"The splitting boundary drawn would result in a self-intersection of the surface boundary. Please edit your splitting lines to correct the problem."
What does this mean? I am trying to add a street layout and make it concrete. I have imported a .dwg file and am picking the lines off of that drawing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

When splitting a site you must break it into two pieces at a time, no more. It sounds as though you are splitting into 3 or more pieces with the sketch. Try drawing it progressively breaking the site into the street...
Hope this helps...
