I have a situation where I have a metal siding above 6'-0" and brick veneer from grade to this point. How can I tag both the brick veneer wall and the metal siding above (two different wall types) in the same view. I can only get the tag to link to the lower wall. I have tried playing with the view range and hitting tab. The only way I have been able to tag both is to adjust my cut plane up to above 6 feet but I do not want the profile of the metal panel to show just the brick veneer in plan. Any thoughts. Thanks

in order for revit to tag it, it needs to see it. put a view region over your siding, tag it and than use the Linework tool to hide. HTH

To tag the higher walls I temporarily set my cut plane to expose and tag them. When done, I reset my cut plane back to normal and the upper tag does remain.

I tried adjusting my cut plane up. This enabled me to tag the wall above but when I lowered my cut plane the tag went away. Is their something I am missing?

I stand corrected. I swear though that it used to work once upon a time since I have done it! It is another reason to not like stacked walls. Why can't the stacked wall have a type mark? That way you could tag them in a plan view. I guess the view range thing with the linework tool or simple dumb text wall tags may be the answer.
