Hi all,
Ocasionally when renumbering doors, I'll get a message that says the door number is already in use. The catch is that the number that the program claims is in use is not anywhere visible in the project. Does Revit maintain door numbers as information somewhere other than directly on the tag that and could something like that cause this? Should I be concerned about how this will affect scheduling?
Thanks in Advance

To find duplicate numbering, create a temporary schedule with all doors visible sorted by numbering. You will then be able to locate the duplicates by selecting the door in the schedule and choosing to show...
A tag simply reports information kept in the door properties itself. So when you change a tag you are actually changing the door properties...
Hope this helps.
