Did you try to change the visibilty settings of your view? under the phase parameters are important options for the correct visualization of the hatch you assigned to the new construction phase.There are 4 types of objects: Existing, New, Demolished, Temporary (E,N,D,T); under the Setting/Phases menu you find the list of Phases and the tab listing the filters already present in the project, in this tab you can choose if you want to see E,N,D or T objects and how the filter applies to each object (you can set it properly with the follwing tab, choosing color line type and hatch for E,N,D,T). After you set up the phases you have to change the parameters of the view:for example choose a filter and a phase for the view (remember that filters are indipendent to the view). Select your objects and change the creation phase. try a little to come up with the solution that fits better your needs.
