hi,

while creating a sloped curved roof, why does the outer edges of the roof lift up too?

any way to rectify it?

please see the photo to understand the edges lift up.

More for this question from me. 

I am trying to create a very simple sloped roof (think simple gable) that curves along a path.  I create a roof by footprint, add two curves that are exactly offset from each other (parallel curves if you will) join the ends with two lines, set the slope of each of the two curves to 5/12 and press Create Roof.  I always get a message that the roof cannot be created.  Is it just me, or should this be easy?  See the attached picture created in Sketchup.  All of the other roofs in the picture are modeled separately.
