what is the best way to learn revit building??  buy a book ?follow the help section in the program?or find infrmation on the net?

First, go to the getting started part of the help file. This will give you a general overlay of the program.

 

Then you can go through the tutorials.

 

These are the free things. If you want more, the dgcad.com is a great site that has video tutorials covering pretty much everything for very little money.

 

I haven't looked into books for awhile. Last I knew there wasn't much, but that could've changed.

i don't think you find a single best way to learn Revit. books, blogs, the Revit tutorials, sites like this, AU University, other people in the office, the Revit Help. they all play a roll. i'm with framerman if you are using Revit building the DGCAD is a great resource. Also alot of the Autocad/Revit dealers have free mini-clips on various subject posted at there website.

If you do the Revit tutorials you be well on your way into the Revit journey
