Hi. This is probably simple but I have searched and searched on these forums and haven't quite found the answer. I am trying to insert rooms into my project (revit 9) and when I click the 'room' button it says I need to load a room tag family into my project. Where can I get a default family from? Thank you

Your room tag should be in your annotation folder. Hit File>Load from Library>Load Family and navigate to your annotations folder under c:\doc and sett\all users\application data\autodesk\Revit\Library I'm surprised it's not already there. It should be there in your default template that opens up when you start Revit.

I'm using the program at my university, it might have been installed somewhere else. If I can't find the folder, is there a way to download some tags somewhere?

Maybe the problem is that I don't really know what I am looking for as far as a room family goes. I've found a lot of other family types on the system like walls and doors, but nothing about rooms... Maybe I will seek out a tech or someone. Thank you

On this same topic, is there any way to align and cenetr these tags within the rooms?
