Hi guys! I was wondering if ACAD .shx fonts are combatible with REVIT and how you would import it into the project. Then how would you make sure that this font was available to you for every project you start without having to re-load it every time.

Shape fonts are Autodesk fonts made for use with AutoCAD.  So, it only makes since that .shx fonts would work with Revit.  Well, they don't.  I have gone around with the tech support at Autodesk about this one.  From what I understand there is no immediate plan to incorporate .shx fonts into Revit.

I have found some Truetype fonts that are very similar to the .shx fonts that we used to use.  What .shx fonts are you trying to load?

If you setup your text styles in your template then they will be there for every job you start with that template.
